Apparently I get migraines now. Holy crap.
I've always had chronic headaches, and sometimes they are bad. But I never thought they were migraines because there was no nausea or light sensitivity. Twice now, in the last couple months, I've had headaches that I think might be migraines, because they come with nausea in addition to the crippling pain.
I am really, really not a fan.
By which I mean that I would sort of like to die right now.
Ow. :(

ReplyDeleteMy best advice to you is to actually see a doctor about this, if your circumstances permit. I grew up with debilitating headaches, and finally got smart about it and saw a doctor. A million things can cause headaches or migraines, but I found that just going through the process of elimination with a doctor helped a lot. Who knew sunglasses could help so much? I sure didn't. Allergies are a big one, too. Good luck, I know they're terrible.
ReplyDeleteOh, I would love to do that, I really want to visit a neurologist. Normally I'm pretty averse to the doctor's office, but in this case the only thing stopping me is that I can't afford it. Hopefully someday soon!
ReplyDeleteOf course, I'm also not sure that they'll be able to do anything, since I remember getting MRIs (or CT scans?) as a kid and they didn't show anything. But I definitely still want to try.
